Christmas Progress Report! (December 2024)

Merry Christmas and happy holidays, everyone!
It’s been a bit since the last progress report, and I figured I’d share some info on how things are going so far! Consider it an early Christmas present!!
Act 2 is pretty much done! It’s fully playable from start to finish, albeit there are still some rough spots left to iron out: a few placeholder graphics and sounds, alongside some quality-of-life features needing implementation. A few friends of mine played it, and they really seemed to enjoy it! Especially that one ending scene...
BUT I’m getting ahead of myself!
Progress on Act 3 has been slow yet steady; it’s definitely been the most demanding, so far. The first major area is almost fully playable from start to finish. As for the rest, I’m still working on the second area’s script, and the others have their basic outline of events and rooms written down. We’ve still got a long way to go, but we’re getting there!

Unfortunately, there’s not much more I can share without spoiling much. However, I’m confident in saying that Acts 2 and 3 are bigger and better than Act 1, and the game as a whole is shaping up to be something great! At least, that’s what I’m aiming/hoping for.
